Die Pop-Punk Band lässt uns aktuell echt keine Zeit schon mal den einen oder anderen Song der neuen Platte auswendig zu lernen (oder zu hören)! Schon wieder veröffentlichten sie einen neuen Song von ihrem neuen Album „All Distortions Are Intentional“ welches bereits diesen Freitag erscheint! Dies wäre somit das vierte Studioalbum der Band. Der Vorgänger „The Peace And The Panic“ erschien im August 2017.
Erst am Wochenende, versorgten Neck Deep uns mit dem Track „I Revolve (Around You)“ und Anfang der Woche folgte bereits der nächste! Dieser nennt sich wiederum „Sick Joke“ und ist wie gewohnt weiter unten für euch zu hören. Laut Frontman Ben Barlow, stellt die Band mit dem Song das Gefüge der Realität in Frage, während man mit psychischer Gesundheit zu kämpfen hat. Desweiteren erzählt Barlow beim Kerrang! Magazine über den Song: „Jett contemplates whether life itself is even real, in fairly ethereal terms, due to the internal suffering he is experiencing. Shredding solos, punchy rhythms and stomping drums drive the song along, and it sonically represents the more minor/ driven side of the record.“
Jett ist einer der beiden Charaktere, welche immer wieder in den Songs des Album auftauchen. Jett und Alice reisen in „All Distortions Are Intentional“ nämlich durch „Sonderland“ während sie mit vielen alltäglichen Dingen aus dem Leben zu kämpfen haben. Neben „Sick Joke“ und „I Revolve (Around You)“ wurden bereits die Songs „Fall“, „When You Know“ und „Lowlife“ veröffentlicht. Allem Anschein nach, stehen Neck Deep auch auf Videos, denn zu jedem Song gab es bisher ein Musikvideo zu sehen!
