Das die arbeiten an einer neuen Parkway Drive Scheibe bereits in vollem Gange sind, ist kein Geheimnis mehr.
In einem kürzlich erschienen Interview mit Rocksound, konkretisiert Frontmann Winston McCall das Ganze.
Parkway Drive habe, dank des Corona-Lockdowns, ihre ganzen Touren in den späteren Verlauf des Jahres oder gar auf 2021 verschieben müssen und hätten daher momentan jede Menge Zeit, die ins Songwriting investiert werden könne.

Ursprünglich wolle sich die Band nächstes Jahr eine längere Auszeit nehmen, um an dem Album zu arbeiten. Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation haben sie ihre Zeitpläne jedoch umgedreht und nutzen die aktuelle Zeit zum schreiben, um sobald wie möglich wieder touren zu können.
An der Zeit die ihr auf das Album warten müsst, wird sich laut McCall aber wohl leider nichts ändern:
„And I’m not sure that’s gonna mean that anything will be out sooner, I probably doubt it[…]“
